Who To Avoid - Company's: |
Avoid dealing with companies
that: |
- Charge a substantial entry fee (more than the cost of a sales kit and modest administration fee).
- Pressure you to purchase large quantities of products up front (this is a breach of our Code)
- Do not repurchase inventory
if you decide to leave the business.
- Sell few or no products to
consumers.
- That require you to purchase a high value product just to join.
- That tell you purchasing
their product is an investment without evidence
- That tell you their scheme
has been approved by the Commerce Commission
- That requires you to recruit more people below you for you to acheive the reward without sale of products
- That are not DSA New Zealand members
|
This is not an
absolute list of who not to deal with but if you are unsure contact
the DSA and ask about member companies. We are happy to give
background information that will help you decide. We will not however advise you which member company is best as that is subjective depending on what your needs are. We can not endorse any non member company and will only advise the verifyable facts where these are known with a suitable caution being advised.
The the five bullet points may be indicators that the company is an illegal pyramid scheme.
