FOCUS POINT
FOR THE PUBLIC |
|
We invite members
of the public, to use the DSANZ as a contact point for problems
encountered when dealing with Direct Sellers whether they are
a member or not. |
|
When this involves
a member, the actions required under our Code of Practice are taken to ensure satisfactory resolution without
the need to resort to costly legal procedures. We have a
Code Administrator available to arbitrate when no satisfactory
resolution can be found and a strict process to follow which
is set down in the Code. |
|
When this involves
someone other than a member, advice on the correct remedies may
be given or the association, at its discretion on serious cases,
may choose to act on behalf of the public to resolve the problem
or situation. |
|
This does not prevent other normal legal remedies being pursued by the member of the public. |
