For a single GST-inclusive amount, multiply by 3 and then divide 23 to get the GST component. (If something costs $100 including GST, $100 multiplied by 3 = $300 divided by 23 = $13.04, which is the GST included) To add GST to an amount, multiply it by 15% (0.15). |
