The following is a snapshot guide to New Zealand Taxation prepared to give general assistance to foreign based Direct Selling companies entering New Zealand and start up New Zealand companies looking to get into the Direct Selling business in New Zealand.
This is not an absolute guide and the DSA recommends that once the decision has been made to enter Direct Selling in New Zealand, you should seek advice from a Chartered Accountant who has some experience with Direct Sellers.
The Association does not accept any liability for any losses based on the advice acted on and would recommend normal due diligence be applied to any advice given.
Publications available from the DSA that are of assistance to Direct Sellers.
These are available to members and new applicants to the DSA. >>>
Inland Revenue provides free on request Guides for all taxation which are comprehensive although not always as user friendly as we would like and not generally focused towards Direct Sellers.
